LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is a program by which manufacturers can attest to the quantity of recyclate(s) used in the manufacture of their product(s) and the harvest location of said recyclate(s) in relation to the end-use site.
Southland Tube does not melt, refine or cast steel. Therefore, we do not consume recyclate(s) in the production of our finished goods. We convert sheet purchased from primary steel mills into our finished goods. However, these primary steel mills consume recyclate(s) in the manufacture of their finished goods. So, we (and you) can use their location and LEED information in the compilation of LEED submissions.
To this end, please gather a list of heat numbers for the finished goods for which you are submitting LEED document requests. Once you have this list together, enter it in the field below. Fill out the rest of the form and click submit. We will reply to your request as soon as resources allow.
Thank you for your LEED certification information request by heat numbers. We will respond with your information as soon as our resources allow. If you need immediate assistance, please contact your Southland representative.
